It is like she is going back to being a kitten herself. She’s making growling noises, begging for food when we are eating, waiting for the children to drop food when at dinner table. She is also eating the kitten food, drinks their milk and she turns her nose up at her own food. Her stomach has also been a bit off. Is this because she is eating kitten food or something else? Sometimes when we walk past her she tends to hiss especially when food is dropped on the floor. What should we do? Thanks for any advice.

I have 3, four month old kittens and they have a wicked food agression. They growl at the food bowl and even the water bowl. Happen to drop food on the floor and it’s a free for all. They hiss and growl and claw you if you try to take it away. None of my other cats have this food aggression so why do they? How can I stop it before it becomes a HUGE issue?

A mom cat and her kittens adopted my patio a little while ago, and naturally I’ve been trying to leave some food and water out for them as often as possible. The mom cat was very skinny so I have been feeding her extra foods packed with vitamins and fats, like chicken, special dry & canned cat food, turkey, some beef, and she LOVES biscuits and cheese! :) But she never seems to gain any weight. I want to make sure she is eating enough to produce milk for her kittens and remain healthy, but it doesn’t seem to matter what food I give her. Any food recommendations for a nursing stray cat?

Also… If they stay around any longer, I will have to take them to the shelter but I’d rather give them to people who will provide a good home. I live in Dallas. Please inquire if you are interested!
